Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) are used for transport and storage of liquid and free-flowing materials in chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. For weighing IBC containers (800l, 1000l) as well as CP1 and CP2 pallets, we have designed a pallet scale with extra-wide legs of the U-frame. The dimensions have been chosen so that the containers, chemical and Euro pallets can be placed and weighed exactly.
To weigh pallets on the scale, it is not necessary to remove the pallet truck or forklift tines from the pallet. Simply lower the stacking base and place it on the U-structure.
The combination of the weighing platform with the scale display is intended for weighing applications in the legal-for-trade (scale display MWI-T) and non-legal-for-trade (scale display GTW-T) range. The numeric keypad can be used to enter tare weight or limit values for checkweighing. Due to the light construction, the pallet scales are also suitable for changing locations.
In case of use as filling scales for IBC containers, please order additionally from our range of weighing transmitters, which enable different formulations and communicate with PLC.

Installation
The U shape of the IBC scale makes it easy to place the IBC container. Simply drive between the two bars with the lifting scale or forklift truck and place it down.

The U shaped weighing bridge is equipped with four high-quality load cells.
The indicator MWI record individual weighing results and also return the total of all weights in the weighing run. The weights are shown on a user-friendly 50 mm display. The tare function covers the entire measuring range.
Power supply and interfaces
The pallet scale is supplied for mains operation as standard (mains plug included). The optional rechargeable battery allows for weighing without connection to the mains supply. The optional serial RS-232 data interface permits a bidirectional data transfer of the weights to a printer, PC or second display. Transmission cables, second display or printers are available as accessories.
