The RD 840 alphanumeric remote display for precise readability of weighing data and other non-weight-related information such as materials (concrete) or commands (STOP / GO). The super-bright OSRAM LEDs are clearly legible even from greater distances (up to 30 m) and are automatically adjusted to the daylight conditions by a brightness sensor. The height of the display digits is 100 mm. Direct control is possible via the integrated RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces.
The remote display is ideal as a secondary display for concrete mixing plants, shipping and commissioning scales, counting scales, dosing and filling scales, livestock scales and in the industrial sector. Optionally, the protocol can also be adapted for other devices. This makes the RD 840 remote display compatible with a wide range of devices.

Construction
The robust, all-round enclosed aluminium housing protects the electronics, complies with protection class IP65 and is designed for outdoor use. An optional cover can serve as an additional protective roof against sun and rain. Easy mounting on the rear side of the housing.
