In order to be able to precisely control your production processes, you need sophisticated technical knowledge and creative concepts. Scale construction in perfection — with the appropriate load cell
The heart of scale construction is always the load cell, as it determines all the properties of the later scale. The distinction between pressure, weight and tension scales is the first priority. The weighing range is then defined, whereby a higher nominal load is always associated with a higher measurement resolution. If more than one load cell is to be used, they must be connected to each other using a distributor and connected together to the weighing terminal. During the final assembly yourself, make sure that the cells are fixed with rubber mounts to protect them from shocks and vibrations.
When building scales, ready-made kits from BOSCHE are recommended, as the individual components are perfectly coordinated and already calibrated. In addition, the sets with load cells, load feet, distribution box and data cables offer a good base of components for constructing individual scales. For a platform scale are platform and shear beam as well as compression load cells - for a flat structure and time-saving weighing - ideal. They can easily be linked together for larger weighing systems. If a small scale is to be manufactured, so-called Singlepoint load cells are to be preferred during construction.
For weighing large boxes in the logistics sector, BOSCHE provides you with high-quality weighing beams that can be installed in just a few steps. In addition, the beams consisting of two load cells are ideal as a basic structure for building special scales. If the tensile weight of an object is to be determined, the scale is constructed with an S-shaped load cell, to which a hook is usually attached for attachment.
