Precision Scale Manufacturing – With the Right Load Cell
The heart of any scale is the load cell, as it determines the characteristics of the final product. The first step is distinguishing between compression, weight, and tension load cells. Next, the weighing range is defined – a higher nominal load generally comes with a coarser resolution.
For multi-cell scales, we connect all load cells through a junction box and connect them centrally to the weighing terminal. For self-installation, we recommend mounting the cells with rubber damping to protect them from shocks and vibrations.
