Stainless steel weighing module with central load introduction
The stainless steel weighing module enables the simple and problem-free integration of the laser-welded K30N load cells. A particular advantage of this module is the central load introduction, which takes place via two hardened ball sockets and a ball. Even with parasitic forces such as wind loads on silos or lateral forces on containers, the exact load introduction is guaranteed - for always precise measurement results.
Robust construction
The load introduction via ball and socket is supported by two wishbones, which enable tension-free functionality. These wishbones absorb transverse forces and ensure that the ball is optimally positioned, which also reliably decouples loads from agitators or mixers.
The weighing module can be delivered fully calibrated with a BOSCHE display so that it is ready for use immediately.

In-built module for ring torsion load cells with limited lifting lock. For nominal loads of 10 t to 150 t per module.
The weighing module for optimal force reception for the V50S ring torsion load cells is used for measuring loads in various industrial applications.
The load is always optimally centred, via the head pressure fitting, in the force receptor button of the load cell. The head plate is supported by means of a leaf spring with fastening lugs, ensuring a limited lifting lock.
The load cell is made of high-quality alloyed tool steel, is laser-welded and fulfils the requirements of protection class IP 66.

Weighing modules for load introduction for load cells
A load cell only works reliably if it has been installed correctly. The load must be applied in such a way that the load cell moves evenly. due to their design. So-calledweighing modules consist of a load cell that is already equipped with the appropriate mechanical components for correct load application. For example, a bending beam load cell for a platform scale must be mounted on a load foot so that the force can be applied torque-free. Theload foot has a ball socket to prevent tension from occurring.
Different designs of weighing modules
Weighing modules make it easier to install load cells. For example, a simple module with an S-load cell for weighing hanging weights consists of the load cell and two eyebolts or eyebolts that are screwed to the top and bottom of the S-load cell . This design is suitable for use in hanging or container scales for lower weights. To build such a scale for larger loads, the module must be constructed much more massively. Here, a bending beam load cell is used, the load application of which is implemented via solid steel angles and eyebolts. Platform and floor scales for high weights usually contain shear beam weighing cells that are mounted on a base plate. The load is then introduced from above via a ball socket, which introduces the load evenly onto the load cell.
High demands on the material for weighing modules
In addition to the load cell, the material used to build a module must also meet the highest standards.Weighing modules are mostly used under harsh conditions in industry. They are exposed to dirt, moisture and fluctuating climatic conditions. It is therefore important that only high-quality steel alloys are used to build such a module. The steel used must be corrosion-free and must not deform under force. Only then is the long-term functionality of the entire module guaranteed.
