A mobile way to record weights/quantities

This mobile picking system is a weighing unit that is not tied to a specific location and includes reference and quantity scales, which enable precise recording, even of larger items (e.g. of small parts).

For a back-friendly, ergonomic way of working, the large picking scale can be individually adjusted to a suitable height.

The installed Industry PC has a 12“ display, and includes WiFi, USB 3.0 and Ethernet. There’s a 2D handheld scanner directly at hand height and a practical storage area. The powerful Makita battery system enables uninterrupted working.

With the mobile weighing system, the scale comes to the objects to be weighed and notv vice versa. The dragging of heavy containers and packaging to the next weighing station is no longer necessary. With the help of the smooth-running, sturdy polyurethane wheels, the weighing platform — including printer, scanner and operating unit — can easily and conveniently be brought to the desired location. Here, the sophisticated design of the system and the intuitive operation via touch screen then help in speedily performing and documenting all weighing operations. If desired, the weighing results can be displayed via the builtin thermal printer directly on site, or transmitted via WiFi to a merchandise management system.
