Dynamometer KFA
- Professional weighing technology
- Original BOSCHE quality
Product information "Dynamometer KFA"
The mechanical hand dynamometers KFA are ideal for tensile and compressive force measurements. These force measuring devices are an excellent, economical solution for tensile or compressive tests. These force gauges are also often used to test products in quality control in the production area or for safety-relevant components in the public sector. Since these force gauges do not require a power supply, they are efficient and reliable tools that can be stored in your toolbox and used for occasional tests.
Supplied in a robust carrying case including the following standard attachments: small hook, cone insert, flat head insert, blade insert, V-shaped insert, extension rod 90 mm.
This mechanical force gauge works on the spring principle and displays the measured force on an analogue dial.
Features
- High weighing accuracy at an extremely affordable price
- Simple, robust, maintenance-free Force measuring device
- Dual scale: Newton and kg can be read in parallel
- Rotatable reading unit for easy adjustment of the device
- Peak hold function using drag indicator (Track = continuous measurement / Peak = peak value recording)
- Can be mounted on all manual test benches
- Zeroing of the display at the push of a button
- Precision (of [Max]): 1%
- Overload protection (of [Max]): 150%
- Overall dimensions fully assembled (WxDxH): 231 mm x 60 mm x 51 mm
- Net weight: 650 g
Operation
The dial indicator rotates 360 degrees for taring.
The measuring device has 2 operating modes: peak value and real-time:
Current value - display of the current tensile or compressive force
PEAK (peak value) / HOLD function - for recording force peaks during a test process. The maximum force within a force measurement can be recorded using the Peak Hold function. Switching between the HOLD (track) or PEAK (peak value) functions is done by simultaneously pressing and turning the rotary knob to the corresponding position.
A mechanical overload protection protects the measuring device from damage.
Accessories
These force measuring devices are supplied with a carrying case. A set of standard attachments (pointed chisel, pressure plate, threaded pin extension rod, inverted pointed chisel, test hook) is also included in the scope of delivery.
Equipped with a gravestone tester with stainless steel handles and a plate attachment for pressure tests, the force gauge is also suitable for standing tests on gravestones in accordance with VSG 4.7.
Construction
The large analogue display with easy-to-read, clear dual scale in Newton and kg can be read in parallel. The mechanical dynamometer is housed in a robust plastic housing and is specially designed for the higher force ranges up to 500 N. The resilient plastic housing of the force meter fits ergonomically in the hand and guarantees a secure hold. The measuring range is 10 mm until the maximum load is reached. The force measuring devices can be mounted on mechanical test stands. This allows for better control and repeatability of the measurements.
