Delivery area and costs

• Delivery takes place ex works Damme.
• Our prices are ex works, plus packaging, transport and, if applicable, VAT.
• For deliveries abroad, the customer is responsible for additional duties and taxes.

Delivery time

The delivery period begins with the order confirmation. Standard delivery within 2 working days after delivery of the order confirmation. If paid in advance: dispatch within 2 working days after receipt of payment.

Shipping and insurance

• Shipping method and route will be determined by us unless there are special instructions.
• Insurance possible upon express customer request.
• Transport packaging must be disposed of by the customer.

Right of withdrawal

• Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB have the right to withdraw from the contract within two weeks without giving reasons.
• The withdrawal period begins upon receipt of the goods and these instructions.
• The withdrawal must be sent to us in writing or by returning the goods.
• Entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Return

• In the event of an effective revocation, the services received by both parties must be returned.
• Items that can be sent by parcel must be returned in the original packaging.
• The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

• No right of withdrawal for specially manufactured or perishable goods.
• No right of withdrawal for unsealed audio, video recordings or software.

Shipping and Packaging Instructions for Test Weights and Measuring Devices

To ensure your test weights and measuring devices arrive safely at our facility, please observe the following packaging recommendations. These guidelines help protect your equipment during transport and ensure everything reaches us undamaged.

1. Weight Sets

• Ensure that the case is completely and securely closed. If necessary, reinforce the closure for extra security.
• Place the case in an additional protective cover such as a bag or pouch to prevent weights from falling out.
• Place the wrapped case in a sturdy outer packaging with sufficient space.
• Generously fill the outer packaging with shock-absorbing material to prevent movement and optimally protect the case.

2. Individual Weights

• If necessary, provide additional padding for individual weights inside the case to protect them from shocks.
• Again, ensure cases are securely closed and reinforced if needed.
• Place the cases together in a bag or pouch as an added safety measure.
• Use a sufficiently large outer box and secure the cases with suitable padding material.

3. Scales and Other Measuring Devices

• Always follow the manufacturer's transport guidelines.
• If possible, use the original packaging for shipping.
• Remove the weighing platform and pack it separately in the package.
• If available, install a transport lock to protect sensitive components.
• Analytical scales: Secure the draft shield doors to prevent them from shifting during shipping.
• Don’t forget to include all required accessories such as power supplies or cables.

Please include the completed order form with your package as well as any delivery notes, previous calibration certificates, or other relevant documents, if available.
