Dimensions and weights play an important role here. Measuring packages in particular is very time-consuming and often leads to errors when transferring data to inventory management systems and shipping programs.
The BOSCHE 4D Silence In-Line volume scale is the ideal tool for contactless volume and weight recording of packages. The semi-automatic measurement (length x width x height and weight) takes place in a matter of seconds. The dimensions can be used to determine the right packaging and organize the warehouse loading plans.

Dimension recording - four high-precision Laser distance sensors scan cuboid-shaped boxes and determine the corresponding dimensions during weighing.
In addition, the corresponding volume weight is calculated. An optional camera can take a photo of the product in addition to the master data.

Software

The software included in the scope of delivery visualizes weight and dimension data directly on the supplied or your own Windows computer. The software of the volume-weight measuring device calculates the volume and volume weight from the dimensions and weight.
Hotkeys make it easy to export data to your shipping system. Various function keys are available on your keyboard for this purpose, which write the data directly to the cursor position. The configurable software can be adapted on request (different language, scanner as trigger, etc.). The determined values can be transferred directly to the master data of the warehouse management system (WMS) via an interface connection.

Construction

The 4D Silence IN-LINE volume scale has four load cells mounted within the base frame. In addition, four laser distance sensors are permanently installed in the robust steel construction. The weighing technology is maintenance-free and wear-free.

Weighing range: 30 kg, 60 kg or 150 kg.
