From checkweighing to container scales
Checkweighing scales are the perfect solution for random weight checks of pre-packed cartons or packs containing manually counted products. Mounted on a trolley, these scales can be moved between workplaces. The extra-large display and optional signal lamp system make sure that the weighing result can be clearly seen even from a distance.
Such scales can also be integrated into your roller conveyor systems, be it as a customised unit or bespoke solution. Alternatively, contact us for a quote for a complete new system that caters for all your weighing needs. Thanks to the digital interfaces, our roller conveyor scales can be easily connected to a printer or a PC running your ERP or shipping management software. A number of software protocols allow for direct access to the scales so that the weights of individual consignments can be viewed at a remote workplace. On request, we provide verifiable transport scales or upgrade your model with an alibi memory for all weights, dates and times.
From the 1 July 2016, shippers and forwarders are required to measure and record the gross dimensions of the shipping containers. This can be done by manually adding the weights of the goods, the packaging material and the empty container. Alternatively, shippers can weight their fully loaded containers in a single process. The total weight is normally determined at the central weighing station directly in the harbour, using cranes and load handling gantries equipped with weighing devices. If you are looking for customised transport scales, please contact us for a quote.
Transport scales with integrated worktop
Weighing tables are the perfect solution for pick and place. The large worktop made in timber, PE or another material of your choice makes it easy to prepare the consignment shipping. Quantity scales recessed into the worktop ensure that the correct number of items is packed, while small reference scales cater for the precision weighing of the individual units. For this type of scales, we offer an optional barcode scanner and a label printer. On request, the scales come with a signal lamp and special software for integration into your production or shipping management system.
If you want to ensure that your workplaces in the production hall or warehouse are ergonomically designed, we recommend investing in a hydraulic lift table. These tables can be adjusted to the height of the worker and/or the size of your containers. The built-in scales assist operators in calculating and checking the correct quantities. Verifiable in accuracy class III and fully equipped with the necessary software, transport scales have become indispensable measuring instruments in a wide range of industries.
