The Beekeeping Scale WSE-H is a verified scale designed for fast and accurate weighing when filling honey. It is versatile and easy to use – even inexperienced users will get up to speed immediately. The optionally available battery enables mobile use, making the WSE-H a reliable everyday companion in any apiary, for beekeepers, and in industrial environments.

Checkweigher and portioning scale for honey
Thanks to adjustable tolerance ranges, you can define precisely when the desired honey quantity has been reached during filling. Deviations above or below these values are indicated on the display with arrow symbols and an audible signal. This keeps every honey portion exactly within the defined range.

Dual-range scale
The honey scale WSE-H features two automatically switching weighing ranges. In the lower range it measures with particularly fine resolution, before switching to the second range with slightly coarser readout at higher loads. This ensures precise results for both small quantities and larger filling volumes.

Functions

The honey scale WSE-H features a freely configurable limit function for weight, percentage, or piece-count values. Weight values can also be accumulated in memory as required.

Weighing Technology – Verified Version

Precise force transfer into a strain gauge load cell combined with high internal resolution delivers stable display values. The load cell is certified to OIML R-76 / EN 45501. The honey scale WSE-H meets accuracy class III and is supplied already verified – making it immediately ready for use in legally for trade applications. Subsequent verification is not possible.
Thanks to its dual-range function, the scale automatically switches from the finer to the next weighing range as the load increases. It does not switch back automatically upon return to zero.

First weighing range: 0 – 3 kg with increment 1 g
Second weighing range: 3 – 6 kg with increment 2 g

Display and Keypad

The bright, energy-saving 6-digit LCD display (14 mm digit height) ensures excellent readability. The adjustable backlight keeps the display clearly visible even in unfavourable lighting conditions. The intuitive membrane keypad with 7 keys and a tactile click makes operation easy and safe – even for less experienced staff.

Power Supply

As standard, the WSE-H is powered via a plug-in power supply. An integrated battery is optionally available, enabling mobile operation for up to 35 hours. Charging time is approx. 12 hours. The automatic shut-off function preserves battery life and reduces energy consumption.

Construction

The removable stainless steel platform (225 x 300 mm) and robust plastic housing with watertight membrane keypad provide reliable protection in demanding environments. A replaceable protective cover shields the display and keys from dust and other contaminants. The four height-adjustable feet and integrated levelling bubble ease setup at changing locations.

Accessories

The honey scale WSE-H can optionally be fitted with a serial RS 232 interface to transmit weight data to a PC, printer, or secondary display. External displays (e.g. for direct customer-facing use) and various printers are also available as accessories.
