The honey scale WSE-H is a legal-for-trade scale that is particularly suitable for fast and precise weighing when filling honey. It is highly versatile and easy to use – even users with little experience can operate it immediately. The optionally available battery enables mobile use, making the WSE-H a reliable everyday assistant in any beekeeping operation and industrial environment.

Control and portioning scale for honey
Thanks to adjustable tolerance ranges, you can precisely determine when the desired amount of honey is reached during filling. Exceeding or falling below these values is indicated on the display with arrow symbols and an acoustic signal. This ensures that each portion of honey remains within the defined range.

Dual-range scale
The honey scale WSE-H features two automatically switching weighing ranges. In the lower range, it measures with particularly fine resolution before switching to the second range with a slightly coarser reading under higher loads. This ensures precise results for both small quantities and larger fillings.

Functions

The honey scale WSE-H features a freely configurable limit function for weight, percentage, or piece values. Additionally, weight values can be summed in memory if needed.

• Tolerance weighing (+/-) with acoustic signal upon reaching or exceeding the target weight

Weighing technology – Calibratability

Through precise force introduction into a strain gauge load cell and a high internal resolution, you receive stable display values. The load cell is certified according to OIML R-76 / EN 45501. The honey scale WSE-H meets accuracy class III and can be ordered directly with calibration for mandatory calibration applications (subsequent calibration is not possible).
Thanks to its dual-range function, the scale automatically switches from the finer to the next weighing range as the load increases. It does not switch back automatically upon returning to zero.

First weighing range: 0 - 3 kg with a digit step of 1 g
Second weighing range: 3 - 6 kg with a digit step of 2 g

Display and keyboard

The bright and energy-efficient 6-digit LCD display (14 mm digit height) ensures good readability. Thanks to the adjustable backlight, the display remains clearly visible even under unfavorable lighting conditions. The intuitive membrane keyboard with 7 buttons and a tactile pressure point makes operation easy and secure – even for inexperienced personnel.

Power supply

As standard, the WSE-H is powered by a plug-in power supply. An optional integrated battery is available, enabling mobile use for up to 35 hours. The charging time is approximately 12 hours. The automatic shut-off function preserves the battery and reduces energy consumption.

Construction

The removable stainless steel platform (225 x 300 mm) and the robust plastic housing with a waterproof membrane keyboard provide reliable protection in demanding environments. An exchangeable protective cover shields the display and buttons from dust and other contaminants. The four height-adjustable feet and the integrated leveling bubble facilitate setup at various locations.

Accessories

Optionally, the honey scale WSE-H can be equipped with a serial RS 232 interface to transmit weight data to a PC, printer, or secondary display. External displays (e.g., for direct customer interaction) or various printers are also available as accessories.
