The C23N hygienic load cell is a stainless steel cell (17-4 PH) with high mechanical stability and corrosion resistance. The high protection class (IP 69K) makes it ideal for demanding applications, e.g. in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The cell also scores with an extensive nominal load range (from 1,000 kg to 20,000 kg).
Everything of the C23N has been designed to meet hygienic standards: A smooth (surface roughness < 1.6 μm) and slightly inclined surface, rounded corners and rounding radiuses of > 5 mm ensure easy cleanability. A hygienic cable gland, positioning of the cable well above the floor and sealing with blue food-safe silicone gaskets make this cell predestined for use in the food industry. The compression load cell is easy to mount. It can be used as a stand itself in combination with an optional load foot. An integrated internal thread allows this to be easily adjusted to the correct height. Additionally, the foot piece has an inclination capability of up to ± 7.5°. This makes it possible to adjust any unevenness of the floor surface. A dowel version with 2 holes, with which the foot can be fixed to the floor, rounds off the possibilities. The matching certified hygienic screws are supplied on request.
