Semi-automatic filling of large into small without a filling valve
This gravimetric dosing and IBC filler was developed based on the robust BOSCHE IBC scale and the powerful CSW weighing controller. Thanks to the flexible BOSCHE software, a wide range of applications can be implemented. With the gravimetric IBC filler, you can either fill the IBC container or fill liquids from the IBC into smaller containers.The IBC container, empty or filled, is placed safely on the stable weighing platform with four integrated load cells. A surrounding steel frame on the platform reliably prevents the container from slipping.
The high-precision measuring transducer works with a sampling rate of up to 300 measurements per second. This ensures that the containers are filled quickly and precisely. The weighing controller supports coarse and fine dosing and enables easy control of the filling process thanks to two digital inputs and three digital outputs.
A relay board with five potential-free switching contacts and a switching capacity of "2A / 115VAC max." is available as an option. This allows filling valves to be controlled directly. The circuit board is integrated directly into the housing of the CSW weighing controller.
Thanks to its low weight of just 40 kg, the container filler is mobile and can be used flexibly at different locations. This means that the heavy, filled drums do not have to be moved.

Weighing technology and functions
Four high-quality load cells are integrated into the weighing bridge of the IBC scale, which ensure precise measurement results. The measured values are evaluated and recorded directly in the CSW weighing controller. The weight data can be read and further processed via an analog output or the RS-232 interface. Threshold values for coarse and fine dosing can be programmed directly in the weighing controller, making the use of external controls (such as PLCs) unnecessary. Digital logic inputs and outputs are also available.
Optional accessories such as an external secondary display or a printer can be added. The fill level of the IBC container is precisely recorded on the weighing platform. Various taring functions are available for taring the container weight or the IBC's own weight. The dosing scale offers a wide range of weighing applications that can be adapted to your requirements.
If required, a relay board can be mounted directly in the weighing controller so that filling valves and other actuators can be connected and controlled directly.
Scale construction
The weighing platform of the IBC scale is particularly flat, made of stainless steel and extremely robust. The four laser-welded load cells are integrated into the sides of the weighing platform. The short, flat ramp is part of the weighing surface and allows the scale to be loaded manually with minimal effort. The scale platform is connected to the weighing controller via a 5-meter-long cable, which enables flexible installation, even on the wall. The robust die-cast aluminum housing of the weighing controller has an IP64 protection rating, which means that it is dustproof and protected against splashes of water from all sides.
The CSW weighing terminal is ideal for simple and complex filling and dosing applications. For example, for silo, container or dosing weighing.

Area of application
The CSW is a high-precision weighing terminal. It reliably displays weight values quickly and accurately.
The weighing terminal has analog and digital outputs that provide stable measurement information.
Programmable relay outputs and two digital logic inputs are also included as standard.
The analog output provides an analog signal proportional to the weight, which can be processed by a PLC or a PC.

Valves and filling devices can be controlled directly from the CSW - even without expensive PLCs.
Fast filling: 300 updates / sec.
Filling and dosing processes are based on speed. The high A/D conversion of 300 values per second enables weight data to be determined accurately and quickly. The fast update keeps up with the process speed. The indicator is ideal for dosing and stirring processes.
Design - Operation
The CSW weighing terminal has a 6-digit weight and service display.
The easy-to-read, bright LED display allows the weight value to be checked directly on site.
The five control buttons enable easy operation.
The weighing controller is in a robust, durable die-cast aluminum housing with protection class IP64.
Both 4- and 6-wire technology load cells can be connected.
Interfaces - Communication
Communication takes place via an RS-485 interface (up to 32 can be connected in the bus). The second serial interface RS-232 is also standard.
The variety of available interfaces enables easy and safe integration of weighing systems into any automation system.
