Personal floor scale K-MPS

The K-MPS personal scale is a rugged scale designed for medical use with a weighing range of up to 200 kg, which measures patients’ body weight with an accuracy of 100 g. Medical personal scales are used to measure body weight in nursing and patient care. Thanks to its medical device certification, this scale is suitable for use in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. The integrated BMI function also allows for the determination of normal weight and overweight status.

Design

The platform’s low profile makes it easier to step on and off, even for elderly patients or those with limited mobility.
The flat scale can be optionally equipped with a display stand (including a height measurement rod upon request).

Operation

The patient’s height is entered via the numeric keypad; at the push of a button, the scale calculates the BMI and displays it on the digital screen.
The numeric keys can also be used to enter a manual tare (pre-tare).
Power is supplied by batteries with a runtime of up to 57 operating hours.

Certification

The K-MPS personal scale complies with the Medical Devices Act and EC Directive 93/42/EEC.
Note: This scale is not calibratable and is therefore not suitable for applications requiring calibration (e.g., billing by weight). It can be used without restriction for weight monitoring and documentation in nursing and clinical settings.
