Product information "Single point load cell H10A"

The H10A is a low profile single point load cell made from Aluminium. The load cell is suitable for small platform scales and weighing machines with accuracy class III.  The load cell H10A is approved to OIML R60 up to 3000 and gives extremely accurate reproducible results, over a long term even in harsh industrial environments. By default, the load cell H10A is tested and optimised for center load sensitivity. This ensures that there will be no measurement error when the load is placed off centre, eg in a corner of a platform. 
The load cell is potted and meets the requirements of protection class IP65.

These load cells operate on the principle of the double cantilever beam and thus ensure accurate measurements. The design is insensitive to off-center force application and can be used for pushed and pulled forces. Threaded holes for attaching the sensor or the defined force introduction ease installation.

The load cell is screwed on to two steel or aluminum plates (max. 300 x 300 mm) via the two screw-on surfaces at the front-top and rear-bottom, and a corresponding scale display or a measuring amplifier is connected. To avoid overloading, the spring deflection (bending) of the load cell should be limited with a mechanical overload stop. This mechanical stop should either be directly under the load cell or under the corner points of the platform. A parallel connection of several platform load cells is only possible with a balanced output (nominal value and output resistance).
