Spring balance for mechanical weight measurement with quality spring for long life. The measuring device uses the extension of a coil spring to measure weight. The spring balance determines the mass based on the weight force of the object being measured and displays it on a scale in grams.
The precision spring balances have a robust housing made of aluminum tube with a color-anodized, wear-resistant, precision scale with high resolution. Integrated recoil damping is particularly important for tensile tests up to a maximum of 1000g. They are ideal for weight determination in the laboratory, school, and other weighing applications. The spring balances are characterized by very high precision: Maximum deviation ± 0.3% of the applied load. They have a tare range of 20% of the maximum weighing range and are available in grams (g). A clip serves as the load receptor. The spring balances are excellent for demonstration purposes.
Always ready for mobile use, as no batteries are required. The spring balance can be quickly converted from tension force measurement to a device for compressive force measurement. To do this, you only need the compression force conversion kit.

Conversion to Pressure Force Meter in 20 Seconds
Using the easily adaptable conversion kit, you can also measure pressure force with the spring balances.
Pull off the bracket with the ring at the side. | Pressure rod with the tip pointing to the direction of choice (M2 thread). | Insert the pressure rod into the scales and screw in tightly. | |
Insert the hook bolt into the cover, press over the plastic handle and tighten with the M4 nut. | The hook screw without plastic tube is used for fastening in machines etc. | For pressure-only application, pull off the lower suspension from the side | Measurement: The pressure rod must always be at right angles to the measuring surface. |
