The FSD MWA floor scale is a powerful stainless steel scale with dust and splash water protection. A stainless steel load plate that can be unscrewed facilitates cleaning of the scale. With a high IP (protection class) and due to the stainless steel construction, the floor scale is suitable for complex applications in the food industry, beverage industry, pharmaceutical industry and other HACCP-compliant quality systems. A combination of the precise weighing platform with the high-quality MWI multifunctional display enables applications in both legal-for-trade and non-legal-for-trade areas. Intuitive operation is via the convenient membrane keypad and is no problem even for untrained personnel. Installation
The scale can be easily mounted or transported with the supplied eyebolts. Basically, there are 3 body variants:
1. overhead structure with ramps: suitable for companies with lift truck operation. One ramp for driving up or two for driving over can be selected.
2. underfloor installation: suitable for companies with forklift and pallet truck operation. In this variant, the scale platform is installed in the floor by means of a pit frame. A pit drawing can be supplied for these built-in scales.
3. overfloor installation: suitable for companies with forklift operation. For calibrated scales, according to the calibration law, a set of base plates for floor mounting is obligatory. Alternatively, an approach protection can be ordered for this setup. This prevents damage to the scale (e.g. accidental driving over with a forklift).
ATTENTION: For calibrated floor scales, the weighbridge must be fixed to the floor. Optionally by drive-on ramps or a set of foot plates. 
Weighing technology - functions
The platforms are equipped with four high-quality load cells.
The MWI display unit with a large 50 mm display is responsible for clear weight determination and totalizing the weighing results. Taring can be performed over the entire measuring range.
Power supply and interfaces
The floor scale is supplied as standard for mains operation (mains plug included). The optionally available rechargeable battery pack allows for power-independent weighing.
The serial RS 232 data interface allows bidirectional data transfer of the weight data to PC, printer or second display. Transmission cable, external second display (suitable for open points of sale) or printer are available as accessories.
Weighing technology - Verifiability
The drive-over scales are equipped with four high-quality stainless steel strain gauge load cells. These IP68 laser-welded load cells are certified to OIML R60. With IP68 the load cells are protected against dust and splash water.
The MWI-A weight indicator is housed in a sturdy aluminum case with 22 numeric and function keys. The 60 mm display with adjustable backlight is very easy to read. The stainless steel floor scales are thus legal for trade in accordance with the requirements of the International Organization for Legal Metrology (OIML) and comply with the guidelines of accuracy class III.

The MWI is a powerful multifunction scale indicator, which is suitable for complex weighing applications.
The indicator is a robust, user-friendly device whose functions are easy and quick to understand.
Operation
Intuitive operation is via the convenient membrane keypad and allows easy operation even by inexperienced personnel.
Tare weight and limit values (for checkweighing) can be entered via the numeric keypad.
Calibration and function settings are easily made via the keypad.
Functions
HIGH-OK-LOW, animal weighing function, tare function, totalization / addition of weights - from up to 9,999 weighings.
Checkweighing - setting of a target weight and tolerance values for setpoint control. Classification with traffic light function is also possible.
Power supply
As standard, the indicator is supplied for mains operation (mains plug included). The optionally available rechargeable battery allows for power-independent weighing.
The optional 1.3 Ah rechargeable battery ensures absolute mobility with up to 15 hours of mains-free operation, although the device can also simply operate in mains mode for stationary use.
The matching plug-in power supply unit is included as standard.
Interfaces
The RS 232 data interface allows bidirectional data transfer of the weight data to PC, printer or second display.
Transmission cable, external secondary display (suitable for open points of sale) or printer are available as accessories.
