The high-quality floor scales of the BOSCHE FSB series are particularly suitable for tough industrial use. The combination of the weighing platform with the simple scale indicator is intended for basic weighing applications in the legal-for-trade (scale indicator MWI-T) and non-legal-for-trade (scale indicator GTW-T) range. Intuitive operation via the comfortable membrane keypad also enables untrained staff to use it easily. Using the numeric keypad, you can enter tare weight or limit values for checkweighing.
Due to the rugged design, the floor scales are predestined for stationary use.

Installation

The scale can be easily mounted or transported using the supplied eye bolts. Basically, there are 3 installation options:
1. Above-floor installation with ramps: suitable for companies using pallet trucks. You can choose one ramp for driving on or two ramps for driving over.
2. Pit installation: suitable for companies using forklifts and pallet trucks. In this variant, the scale platform is installed in the floor using a pit frame. A pit drawing can be provided for these built-in scales.
3. Above-floor installation: suitable for companies using forklifts. For verified (legal-for-trade) scales, a floor plate set for floor fixation is mandatory under the Verification Act. Alternatively, you can order a bumper guard for this setup to prevent damage to the scale (e.g. unintentional driving over with a forklift).

ATTENTION: For legal-for-trade floor scales, the weighing bridge must be fixed to the floor. Either by approach ramps or by a floor plate set.

Weighing Technology – Functions

The platforms are equipped with four high-quality laser-welded load cells.
The multifunction indicator features a large, high-contrast 60 mm LCD display. Using the numeric keypad, you can enter a tare weight (limit values for checkweighing / reference piece count – piece weight).
Stability detection and accumulation of weighing results in a totalizer memory of up to 9,999 weighings with consecutive numbering. Taring is possible over the entire measuring range.

Power Supply and Interfaces

The floor scale is supplied as standard for mains operation (mains plug included). The optionally available rechargeable battery enables weighing independent of the power supply.
The serial RS-232 data interface allows bidirectional data transfer of weight data to a PC, printer, or remote display. Cables, an external remote display (suitable for open points of sale), or a printer are available as accessories.

The weighing bridge is made of powder-coated steel. For safety reasons this bridge has been “over-engineered”, so its extremely robust construction provides increased load-bearing capacity and stiffness. This strongly reduces possible deflection and significantly extends the service life of the floor scale.
The weighing platform is connected to the indicator via an M12 industrial connector with a 5 m long (length is variable) scale cable.
The scale indicator can be detached from the platform even for verified scales. This saves costs when replacing a damaged cable because re-verification is not necessary.
The indicator can be mounted on the wall with a bracket or optionally supplied with a stand.

Platform Size

The floor scales from the BOSCHE range are available in different platform sizes and weighing capacities.
Standard sizes are 0.8 x 0.8 m / 1 x 1 m / 1.2 x 1.2 m / 1.2 x 1.5 m / 1.5 x 1.5 m / 1.5 x 2 m.

A platform size manufactured individually to customer specifications is also possible.

Weighing Range

Standard up to 3000 kg. Special scales with a weighing range up to 6 tons or a larger platform are available on request.

Custom Designs

Deviating platform sizes and special weighing ranges can be implemented as custom designs on request. We manufacture tailor-made solutions to your individual requirements.

Floor plate sets for floor fixation (set of 2) * *For verified scales, the weighing bridge must be fixed to the floor. This is essential for reproducibility of measurement results. Either by two approach ramps or two floor plates or a combination of both.

Bumper guard Damage to the scale (e.g. unintentional driving over with a forklift) can be prevented with a bumper guard. Installation of the impact protection rails is simple: - Position the bumper next to the platform (the platform must not be touched) - Mark the drilling points - Drill holes and fasten the bumper with anchor screws - done.

The MWI is a powerful multifunctional scale display that is suitable for complex weighing applications.
The display is a robust, user-friendly device whose functions are easy and quick to understand.

Operation

The intuitive operation is carried out via the comfortable membrane keyboard and allows easy operation even for inexperienced personnel.
The numeric keypad can be used to enter tare weight and limit values (for control weighing).
Calibration and function settings are easily carried out using the keypad.

HIGH-OK-LOW, animal weighing function, tare function, summation / addition of weights - of up to 9,999 weighings
Percent weighing - control weighing / plus-minus weighing - setting a target weight and tolerance values for setpoint control. Classification with a traffic light function is also possible.

Power supply

The display is supplied for mains operation as standard (mains plug included). The optionally available rechargeable battery enables weighing without a power supply.
The optional 1.3 Ah battery ensures absolute mobility with up to 15 hours of mains-free operation, although the device can also simply operate in mains operation for stationary use.
The appropriate plug-in power supply is included as standard.

Interfaces

The RS 232 data interface allows bidirectional data transfer of the weight data to a PC, printer or secondary display.
