The BOSCHE Relay Box converts digital status signals (High / Low / Go) from scale displays into reliable potential-free relay contacts. This allows for direct control of machines, signal devices, or other systems based on the weight display.
In addition to relay outputs, the relay box can also read up to four inputs and send serial signals to the scale display or PC system upon activation. For example, it is possible to zero or tare the scale using an external button.
Compatibility
The relay box is compatible with the following BOSCHE scale displays:
- MWI
- MCI
- MSI
- EWI
- GTW
- GTC
- GTE
- GTS
Requirement: The respective display device must have a free RS232 interface.
Variant 2: PC Connection
Alternatively, the relay box can also be connected directly to a PC via the BOSCHE USB-to-RS232 cable (Article number: 160-100-40-03). In this case, relay control is possible via the standardized BOSCHE interface protocol. When selecting "Variant 2", the USB-to-RS232 cable is included in the delivery.
