Product information "Strain Transducers T10N"
The T10N was designed for measuring of dynamic or static surface strain on stiff steel constructures. The Strain transducer is screwed on the component making a positive connection between the extensometer and the object. Under mechanical stress on the target construction caused strains and sprains. The sensor is simply srewed onto the component and convert the deformation on the fix platen, which is proportional to the length change, into an electrical output signal.
The strain transmitter have stainless steel construction and meets the requirements of protection class IP65. The strain transducer has been designed for applications in which there is a need to measure the deformation due to external forces acting on an existing component. Due to the small space requirements and the easy installation, the T10N are ideal for retrofitting a force measurement and load monitoring

Mounting
The installation is done quite simply by screwing the sensor on machined surfaces. The measured surface as possible should have the same thermal coefficient of expansion as the strain sensor.
