The integrated RS-232 data interface is a proven solution for the serial transmission of weight data (gross weight, net weight, total memory, date, time, alibi memory) in a wide range of applications. It is ideal for connecting scales to external devices such as PCs (ERP and warehouse systems), printers, secondary displays, or data loggers.
Thanks to asynchronous point-to-point communication, RS-232 enables a stable and interference-resistant connection – even in industrial environments. The interface is perfectly suited for automated weighing processes, label printing, data archiving, or the direct import of weighing data into software applications. For verified (legal-for-trade) scales, legal metrology requirements must be observed.
