The weighing pallet truck - a practical helper for many areas of application
Hardly any industrial company can do without a pallet truck - which helps to transport larger loads and pallets. A weighing pallet truck (sometimes also called a "scale pallet truck" or "ant with a scale") combines the properties of such a conventional pallet truck with those of an industrial scale. This means that the goods and items can be weighed directly after loading before transport and is an additional work step omitted. Therefore, there is enormous potential for saving time and costs in using a weighing pallet truck. Especially where there is a lot of movement of goods (e.g. in the warehouse). The time saved in this way can be used by the staff for others Use activities sensibly. Weighing pallet trucks work just as reliably and precisely as a stationary industrial scale. They are just as resilient as a conventional model without a scale. They can handle pallets with a weight of up to 2,500 transport and weigh kg. Read more...

Weighing Pallet Trucks - Equipped with State-of-the-Art Technology
The equipment is designed for the rough industrial everyday life. The load cells required for weighing are laser-welded with IP 68 and integrated into the underframe. This protects them well against destruction or damage. They are connected to a large control and display module on the pallet truck, which is positioned so that the weighing result can be easily read even when the pallet truck is loaded. The scale features automatic zero setting and can be tared over the entire measuring range. The tare weight can be stored, allowing net/gross weighing to be performed. For high-resolution weighing, weighing with a factor of 10 is possible. Additionally, the device is equipped with a summing function, which is advantageous for inventory, as it eliminates addition errors. The scale is also suitable for recipe weighing due to the summing function. Furthermore, a +/- tolerance weighing is possible, allowing pallets that exceed or fall below a certain tolerance value to be easily sorted out. Counting with a maximum counting resolution of up to 1,500,000 divisions is also possible. The weighing equipment is equipped with a HOLD function, allowing the last measured value to be read even after the weighed goods have been removed from the scale. The peak value weighed during a weighing process can also be retrieved after completion.
Always Mobile with Weighing Pallet Trucks from BOSCHE
The weighing equipment is powered by batteries, allowing work to be done independently of the power grid. If necessary, the batteries can be recharged using the supplied charging cable. Upon request, the scale can be equipped with an RS232 interface, allowing it to be connected to a PC or printer, simplifying the evaluation of weighing data. The weighing data can be stored temporarily and later transmitted to the merchandise management system via the interface. Of course, a weighing pallet truck is also legally calibrated and thus suitable for use in commerce and anywhere where the price of goods depends on weight.
How Does a Weighing Pallet Truck Work?
Weighing pallet trucks operate as reliably and accurately as a stationary industrial scale. Four load cells are located in the underframe of the pallet truck, which are connected to a display device on the pallet truck. The display device is mounted so that the weighing result can be easily read even with a loaded pallet truck. As soon as a pallet is lifted, it can be weighed directly. The integrated scale naturally also supports functions such as summing multiple weights, preselecting a pre-load, or taring the weighing unit over the entire measuring range. A weighing pallet truck operates independently of the power grid and only needs to be connected to power occasionally to charge the batteries inside the device.
Where are Weighing Pallet Trucks Used?
Weighing pallet trucks are used in goods receiving, warehousing, and shipping. Weighing goods is one of the most common activities. Therefore, optimizing the weighing process offers enormous potential for saving time and costs. Weighing can already be done when picking up a pallet with a weighing pallet truck. This eliminates the need to transport the goods to the weighing station and the associated multiple loading and unloading of the goods. The weighing data can be temporarily stored and later transmitted to the merchandise management system via the interface. The time saved can now be used by staff for other meaningful tasks.
What Alternatives Are There to Weighing Pallet Trucks?
As an alternative to weighing pallet trucks, there are so-called pallet scales or "U scales". These offer the possibility, due to their shape, to drive directly into the "U" with a conventional pallet truck without a scale and place the pallet on the pallet scale. Weighing pallet trucks perform this task without additional scales. This is the great advantage of weighing pallet trucks. Another advantage of weighing pallet trucks is that other objects can also be weighed on the fork tines of the pallet truck scale.
